Plot

Set in 1968 during the Vietnam War, Primitive War follows Vulture Squad, a U.S. Army reconnaissance unit led by Sergeant Ryan Baker (Ryan Kwanten), dispatched to a remote jungle valley to locate a missing Green Beret platoon. Upon arrival, the squad discovers the soldiers were killed by unknown predators and soon faces attacks from de-extinct dinosaurs and pterosaurs, revealed to be the result of a covert Soviet experiment.
